Make Red Lobster’s famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits at home with this easy copycat recipe. These cheesy, garlicky drop biscuits are perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the baking mix, milk, melted butter, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the biscuits are baking, melt the remaining 1/4 cup butter. Stir in the chopped parsley.
  6. Brush the warm biscuits generously with the garlic herb butter immediately after they come out of the oven.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For an extra garlicky flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic salt to the biscuit dough.
  • If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but use about half the amount.
  • These biscuits are best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
