Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 frozen phyllo pastry shells (mini size)
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 24 small cubes
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Arrange the frozen phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  3. Place one small cube of brie cheese into the bottom of each phyllo shell.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the brie is soft and beginning to melt.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  6. Top each melted brie portion with about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  7. If using, sprinkle a few chopped pecans over the cranberry sauce.
  8. Serve the cranberry brie bites warm.

Notes

  • You can assemble these up to 2 hours ahead of time, keeping them covered at room temperature before the final bake.
  • If you do not have phyllo shells, you can use puff pastry cut into small squares and pressed into mini muffin tins.
