Make this creamy, cheesy baked dip packed with roasted garlic and Italian seasoning. It tastes like garlic bread and serves as a perfect party appetizer with crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Crusty bread or baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish or small oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced roasted garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is bubbly and lightly golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
  6. Serve hot with toasted baguette slices or crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

  • Roast your garlic ahead of time for faster assembly. To roast garlic, slice off the top of a whole head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and bake at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes until soft.
  • For a richer flavor, use half cream cheese and half mascarpone cheese.
  • If you do not have roasted garlic, substitute with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, but the flavor will be less deep.
