Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, dry Italian dressing mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Place the cubed cream cheese pieces on top of the chicken and sauce mixture.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  6. Remove the chicken breasts and shred them using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the creamy sauce.
  7. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions. Drain well.
  8. Serve the Crock Pot Angel Chicken mixture over a bed of the cooked angel hair pasta.
  9. Garnish each serving with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
  • If you do not have angel hair pasta, serve this creamy chicken over rice or egg noodles.
  • Sear the chicken breasts in a skillet for 2 minutes per side before adding them to the slow cooker for deeper flavor.
