Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (14.5 ounce) can pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni, divided
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
Top with half of the chopped pepperoni.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top layer.
Scatter the remaining pepperoni over the mozzarella.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with crackers, bread slices, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For extra flavor, mix 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano into the cream cheese base.
If you want a spicier dip, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce layer.
Serve this dip with sturdy dippers like baguette slices, pita chips, or sturdy tortilla chips.
