Make this rich, creamy, and decadent chocolate dip that tastes like brownie batter. It is a simple, no-bake party dessert perfect for dipping fruit, cookies, or pretzels.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a large bowl. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder to the cream cheese, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  3. Pour in the milk and vanilla extract. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and beat until the dip is completely smooth, light, and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Mix in the salt. Taste the dip and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Serve immediately with strawberries, apple slices, pretzels, or graham crackers.

Notes

  • For a thicker, frosting-like consistency, chill the dip for 30 minutes before serving.
  • If you want a deeper chocolate flavor, add one tablespoon of instant coffee granules with the cocoa powder.
  • This dip is excellent for holiday chocolate treats or as an easy dessert appetizer.
