Make this creamy, sweet fruit dip using simple ingredients you likely already have. This no-fluff recipe is perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  3. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Taste the dip and add a little more powdered sugar if you prefer it sweeter.
  5. Transfer the fruit dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite fresh fruit platter or cover and chill for up to 2 days.

Notes

  • For a dip that tastes like caramel, substitute the powdered sugar with 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar.
  • If you want a lighter texture, beat in 1/4 cup of heavy cream after the initial mixing is complete.
  • Pair this dip with apples, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and melon for the best results.
