Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl.
Use an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Taste the dip and add a little more powdered sugar if you prefer it sweeter.
Transfer the fruit dip to a serving bowl.
Serve immediately with your favorite fresh fruit platter or cover and chill for up to 2 days.
Notes
For a dip that tastes like caramel, substitute the powdered sugar with 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar.
If you want a lighter texture, beat in 1/4 cup of heavy cream after the initial mixing is complete.
Pair this dip with apples, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and melon for the best results.
