This recipe translates professional speed into your kitchen, giving you restaurant-quality Buffalo Chicken Wraps ready fast. We use pre-cooked chicken to cut down your time, focusing on the balance between spicy buffalo sauce and cool ranch dressing for maximum flavor payoff.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works well)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (use your favorite brand)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced celery (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (for warming tortillas)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and 1/4 cup of ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated. This is your flavor base.
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil. Place one tortilla in the skillet at a time and toast for about 30 seconds per side until pliable and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lay a warmed tortilla flat. Layer the ingredients down the center: start with a handful of shredded lettuce, followed by a portion of the buffalo chicken mixture.
  4. Sprinkle cheese and diced celery (if using) over the chicken.
  5. Fold in the sides of the tortilla first, then tightly roll the wrap from the bottom up.
  6. Slice the wrap in half diagonally. Drizzle a small amount of extra ranch dressing over the top before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For meal prep, mix the chicken filling and store it separately from the lettuce and tortillas. Assemble just before eating to keep the lettuce crisp.
  • If you want a ‘cheesy melt’ effect, place the assembled wrap seam-side down in a hot, dry skillet for one minute per side until the cheese melts.
  • To make this a ‘high protein wrap,’ substitute half the ranch dressing with plain Greek yogurt.
