Make this easy, no-bake pecan pie dip that captures the sweet, creamy flavor of classic pecan pie without needing an oven. It is a perfect holiday or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together in a medium bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate, chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Spread this base layer into a serving dish.
  4. For the topping, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, and salt in a small saucepan.
  5. Heat the topping mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Do not boil rapidly.
  6. Pour the warm pecan topping evenly over the cream cheese base.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Serve this dip cold with graham crackers, apple slices, vanilla wafers, or pretzels for dipping.
  • You can toast the pecans lightly before adding them to the topping mixture for deeper flavor.
  • This dip tastes best when made the same day, but you can prepare the cream cheese base up to 24 hours ahead of time.
