- 2 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes (about 2 medium)
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, sweetened condensed milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the melted butter and mix well.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set. A knife inserted near the center should come out clean.
- Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
